Christmas Conversations

Christmas time has been so fun this year already. We have seen Santa 6 times now. They have been different 4 of those times. Macy loves to talk to him. She gets the most amazing and sweet look on her face when she talks to him! Each time she ask for the same things when he asks her what she wants. A Big Dollie! And he'll say anything else and she says no. How sweet that she only asks for one thing? A big doll is hopefully, what Santa will bring. Jack said a BIG TRUCK and that was all and all he wanted to say to Santa.

Questions I get-
Macy- Which one is the real Santa?
Mommy- We don't get to see the real Santa. He's busy at the NorthPole getting all the toys ready. The Santas we see work for him.

Macy-How does Santa get in our house since we don't have a chimney?
Mommy-He uses magic and comes through the door.

I told her we were going to make reindeer food to sprinkle on the front yard on Christmas Eve. She responded with, "I thought Santa landed on the roof?"
So, I had to quickly remember and tell her the glitter was to help the reindeer see our house because it sparkles in the moonlight and the oats were to help them smell and find their way as well.

One day this week the kids were playing Santa Came. They came up with us all by themselves. They would get in Jack's bed and say Goodnight Mom and then jump up and yell while jumping up and down Santa Came, Santa Came. They had gotten toys and layed them out like Santa does and would be so happy to see them and say this is like a dream and this is what I wanted. I loved every minute of it and there was at least 30 minutes of it.

They are at such a fun age to buy for too. They love everything and play so many things right now and nothing is really expensive yet that they want. I hope I never forget this time in their lives! Christmas morning is going to be so fun and special and memorable!! We are actually getting to open presents on the 25th and be home! This is the first time ever that we haven't traveled on Christmas!!! (now after Christmas we will travel to Booneville, New Orleans and Harrison, but not on Christmas and no trip to Iowa this year)

Merry Christmas!!!
