Jack LOVES to swing. We were delayed in opening presents and eating because the kids were having so much fun on the new swingset Nanny and Papa got Macy for her birthday. They brought it up early and put it together, so she/we didn't have to wait until June. The kids love outside, especially swinging and it's hard for me to go to the park several times a day with them. Now, we can go out as many times as we want with or without make-up or appropriate attire. One morning we were all outside playing in the sandbox and swinging before 8 am in our pajamas. These are the days! The weather was obviously beautiful and perfect for the party!

My sister! We love you Aunt Stephy!

Just lovin' on Momma before opening presents. Of course I was told the Masters HAD to be on as you can see behind us, but we could mute it.

Opening the many, many presents! You are one lucky and loved little boy!

You can really see his curls in this one.

Can you see the drool from his lip to his chest?

His birthday boy shoes!

Checking out the balloons!

Macy feeding Jack some cake. They both loved this. So Sweet!! Even later this evening when everyone was leaving and I had Jack back in the highchair for some dinner Macy had gotten a fork and was reaching up and getting forkfuls of cake (that was still on the cake stand up on the counter) and taking them over to jack and feeding him again.

Baby cousins Matthew and Madison (5 1/2 months) with what looks like BIG cousins! Macy talks about them all the time and surprisingly can tell them apart. Jack is still a little rough with them. We wish we saw them more often.

Just hangin' out!

Eating some leftover goldfish after everyone left.

Papa & Jack. The Parnell Men.

Watching everyone leave with cousins Sydney (10), and Sophie (5). Macy and Jack just love you two girls!

Macy & Jack's first set of golf clubs. Macy is enjoying learning to swing correctly and Jack is enjoying chewing on them.
I LOVE THESE PICTURES!!! The kids and I were on our way down to Booneville for a family reunion on my dad's side. (side note: not everyone could be there, only 72) Justin was coming the next day since it was Razorfest and the Spring Game he was working. Macy had asked for her sunglasses and put them on UPSIDE DOWN! She was asleep pretty soon after and left them on the whole time. I happened to have my camera in my purse and was able to CAREFULLY snap these without causing too much danger to anyone. I couldn't resist.

Happy Easter!

Here is a recap of some Easter activities. It was a fun holiday season that we all loved. The weather has been crazy back and forth with nice days and cold, windy days. I feel blessed each day! The weather definitely helps remind me I am NOT in control.
The kid's Easter baskets full of goodies and placemats that Macy and I made during our craft time and Jack's naptime.

Mommy Delta and future Delta making our deltas on the stairs.

As we walked through the house Macy said, "ooh, this is nice"!

Oh, the number of times I've looked out this door.

Petting and trying to hold the real baby ducks!

Eating her cupcake on the front steps of her college home. HA!

Jack playing during Macy's snack time at the school egg hunt.

The egg hunt was during Jack's morning naptime. He would crawl and walk around and then just lay for a minute. It's a special occasion for me to mess up the daily schedule.

Trying to get out of the stroller. He stands up.

Of course Jack puts the eggs in his mouth.

And Macy did too after I took a picture of Jack doing it.

We hunted eggs once a day for at least a month and both kids loved it! After we went to the Easter Egg Hunt at the Tri Delt house and Macy didn't care about finding them after a very short bit, I decided to not hunt eggs at home a few days before any more egg hunts. It made a difference at the other ones. She hunted and hunted and ran to each one.
