Back to School

Love it!!!

Backpack Backpack! (song from Diego that he sings)

I can never quite catch him at the right time with my camera. I miss the face almost every time. I need a quicker camera and he needs to like having his picture made.

Oh, my big girl!

Macy started preschool (4 year old class) and Jack went back to Mother's Day Out (Little Lambs class). We were all excited for the change! They had great first days and did great! Macy is really going to love it I think. She really probably could have gone to kindergarten this year and I don't think I'm being biased. She has always been above the norm in all areas for her age. This class and her teacher Mrs. Trisha are going to be excellent for her and I'm excited for her. She never really had a backpack just bags, so I have looked and went back and forth on the right backpack for months. I happened to come across the one I got for a great deal and brought it home. She was so happy and said, "Momma you picked the perfect one!" Oh, this melted my heart and made it all better. I'll try and remember to get a pic of the backpacks and lunchboxes soon. They both have new lunchboxes and they are cute and were cheap! Jack's backpack is the same and he loves it.
Jack's class is the same as last year, but he has developed so much since then. He has hit so many milestones the last few months. He is talking a lot and understanding. Still has temper and isn't very patient. He is all boy! Jack can count to 12 by himself and recognize all numbers 1-10. He knows all his colors and I mean all like even white, brown, pink and purple. He can recognize 10 letters and knows tons of songs. Thankfully, and I mean Praise the Lord, he still sleeps in his crib!!! And is on the changing table which he is totally too big for and sits in his highchair. I'll probably transition him out of the highchair and changing table soon, but the crib I'm hoping lasts til 3 like his sister! We had a fabulous 3 months together and lots of fun and memories and relaxation, but we all need a break and a change of pace and more school structure. I will look forward to every Tuesday and Thursday even more now!

Happy School Days!!!
