Mother's Day was perfect! We spent the weekend in Booneville and had a great time. The kids absolutely love being at Nanny and Papa's. I can't even begin to guess the number of times Jack said cow. They love playing there inside and outside. They get lots of extra attention and get spoiled by Nanny and Papa. We rode the mule lots which is always a highlight. For Mother's Day lunch Steph and the girls came over and Uncle Jay, Aunt Doylene, Jeff and Bobbie. We had a nice, relaxing visit and lunch. We were just missing Honey Bun and Pug and Bob. Mom treated us and let Justin and I stay in the guest house and her and dad stayed inside with the kids. It was such a nice treat to sleep without worrying about the kids and getting to sleep in!!!! Justin even got to play golf Saturday and I got to take a nap...Awesome! The kids had a ball and therefore so did I. It was nice to get to play and not think about needing to do anything else.
I have been very fortunate to have an incredible Mom! She has taught me so much and is always there for me as a mother and best friend. I couldn't go a day without talking to her or needing her for something. She is an inspiration as a mother and grandmother! I always tell her if I can be half the mother and grandmother she has been and is I will be happy. Thank you Mom/Nanny for being you...Amazing!!
I have also been blessed with a fabulous Mother-in-Law! I always prayed for a good one and boy did God answer that prayer. Jane/Grandma Jane is also an inpsiration. She always finds time to listen and be there for her 4 children and now 2 in-laws, fiance, boyfriend, and 4 grandchildren-Whew that wears me out. She's not only there, but she's there with a smile, laugh, and open mind. Thank you Jane/Grandma Jane for being you...Wonderful!!
I have a terrific sister and 2 sister-in-laws and one sister-in-law to be that are GGGrrreeeaatttt!!! They are my sisters and best friends, which I thank God for everyday. Thank you Steph, Jenny, Jessica, and Traci for being there for me and being you...Fantastic!!
I've said it before, but I can't say it enough. I truly love every part of being a Mom, especially to Macy and Jack! They are just precious and so fun! I can't imagine one second without them. They are the loves of my life along with Justin and make me love my life even more!! Thank you God for giving them to me.
