The Birthday Man himself and the delicious and beautiful cake!!
My Dad celebrated his 60th birthday with a BASH!!! The food, music, decorations, weather, and company was all just perfect! My dad loves to have a good time and be with family and friends and this party was a night full of that. Everyone had such a fun, relaxing time...thanks Mom!! My Dad, known as Floyd T., is truly amazing. He can do anything he puts his mind to and does. He can outwork just about anyone from sun up to sun down. He is so generous and selfless. He loves helping people and laughing. He tells stories that make you cry you laugh so hard and has a terrific sense of humor. Everyone that knows him loves him because is the friend,dad, brother, husband, son, grandfather that you wish for! We are so lucky to call him Dad/Papa!
I have the best memories of my Dad. He drove me home from every game I cheered at and videoed every pep-rally & with joy too. He taught me how to drive and apparently I drive EXACTLY like him, ha! He taught me how to iron and still does it 10 times better than me. He is all about some starch. He would brush my long hair and dry it while we watched Knight Rider. He could tell you the make-up I wore and made a trip to Dillard's to get it for me many times. He always told me nothing good can happen after midnight and he is right. He always said you need to get up at the same time every morning no matter what time you go to bed even on the weekends and he is right, but I still can't do it. He can cook so well and always made me breakfast before school. And I'm talking eggs, bacon, and biscuits! I could go on and on and would love to. This sums it up...Justin has had some big husband and father shoes to fill! He loves Macy and Jack so much! Macy LOVES to be on the farm, at the barn, checking the cows, and riding the mule. She could do this for hours, which will be nice for Papa when she's older and actually some help. Jack is named after him Jack Parnell and the only boy of the 4 grandchildren so no explanation there.
I Love You Dad so much! I can't tell you enough how proud I am to call you my Dad. You are such an inspiration to me and others in more ways than you'll probably ever know. There's nobody like Floyd T. I look forward to the many, many more birthdays ahead. (I think everyone would vote for an annual party!)
