Muddin' with Rascal Flatts Baby!

Justin surprised me for my anniversary present and got tickets to see Rascal Flatts in Miami, OK. (He got a new weed eater and blower. I think I got the better end of the deal.) I LOVE them and have from the day they came out 10 years ago. I haven't been able to see them the last two times they were in Little Rock because I was either extremely pregnant or just had a baby. I saw them in Tulsa way before kids and two days before I had Macy when they were here for Wal-Mart shareholders. They aren't scheduled to be anywhere else close around here, so this was my shot Justin thought. Miami is just 1 1/2 hours away. My sister went with me because Justin was working track since we were hosting the NCAA outdoor track championships. (He worked 85 hours in one week, whew!) It was at the Buffalo Run Casino & we're Vegas people so I thought YEA! Well, I think it's called Buffalo Run because it's where the buffalo would run if there were any. It's a pasture with a building for the casino and a hotel. As we were driving through the parking lot, aka pasture, I asked Steph if she had 4 wheel drive. The security guys were on horses. The amphitheater as the ticket and website suggested was a stage the crew set up in a pasture. There were no seats. You could bring your lawn chair which most did, but you were going to be standing up anyway and could get closer without. We had armbands for the certain sections. We ended up pretty close. Oh yea, and the only bathrooms were port-a-pottys. It's a good thing we're not two city girls and grew up in Booneville. We thankfully wore flip flops and flats and were cool and comfortable in our dresses. I almost wore white jeans. Once we found a good spot we never moved except for dancing in place. No food, drink, or bathroom runs for us. It was very memorable and the concert was awesome! Darius Rucker was great and RF were amazing and funny as usual. Just FYI-they have granted/fulfilled more wishes with Make A Wish Foundation than anyone else in any music genre. WOW! Thanks Justin and Steph for a wonderful time!!
This is where we stood. This was before our feet were really muddy.
After we parked and started walking through the pasture and mud I said, "Maybe I don't need my pearls!"

This was Will Call/Box Office.
