Happy 1st Birthday Jack!
You turned the big ONE April 14th at 1:46 pm. What a terrific year it has been! Your party was so fun and you were so good. You weren't to into opening presents which was fine with your sister. Macy loves to open presents. She even said, "time to open presents" when we were all sitting around. You got many new toys which has provided some new fun entertainment for you and Macy and some time for me to do a few quick things. Your wardrobe was also increased for spring and summer-yea. Thank you all very much for taking time to celebrate with us and for all the wonderful gifts!!The cake-WOW! You loved it!! You've never been one to shy away from putting things in your mouth and this time was no different. You ate and ate. It was in your hair and you had about half an inch of it around your whole hand, well both hands actually.
You had your one year check up on the 20th and you were right on track and perfect!!

Just a short recap of year one-
You had such a rough first four months with colic and since that has ended you have been the happiest and sweetest boy! You said Momma at 6 months and haven't stopped since. (You're a momma's boy and I love it) You said Dada at 8 months, but rarely say it. You just started saying dog. You jibber jabber a lot. You put my cell phone up to your ear and start talking. It's so cute and funny! You want to eat everything, but you shove it all in your mouth and don't chew it all up and swallow, so you still eat baby food with table food as extras. You have 4-6 teeth. Your two lower incisors came in at 8 months. Your four upper incisors are almost all in. You started crawling at 8 months and starting walking right before your birthday. You can walk, but you prefer to crawl. You haven't quite figured it out yet, thank goodness! You switched to whole milk with no problem after you turned 1! You are a good sleeper in your bed. You don't sleep in the car or stroller. You love Macy and always have and she adores you! You've never been good about laying still on your changing table. You definitely have a temper. You let us know when you don't like something. You love baths and always have. You are not afraid of anything and are not very cautious. ALL BOY!
You are such a joy to us! We love you so much and hope the rest of your years don't go by as fast as this one did, but pray that you are always as happy as you are now.
