This was their first house and they lived in the basement. Each level was a home.

Then they moved down the street a few houses to this house and lived on the 2nd level, but were asked to move to the 1st because she and Jay were too loud. LOL

You can't tell, but my mom is crying. It was very emotional for her. We cried too. She hadn't been back there in many, many years and it brought back so many good family memories for her. Both of her parents are in Heaven now and she misses them terribly of course. Her dad, Hasting Smith, died when I was 2, so I don't have any memories unfortunately. Her mom, Charlene, died 2 years ago this past June, and I was very close to her. That is another post that's on my list.
