Loved the policeman on horses!
Well, there could be post about just this restaurant! A friend told me about it that was there the night before and had good comments. It was rated 5 out of the top 20 places to eat in New Orleans on the internet according to another friend. It was very different, old, dirty and very small, but fun! The music and waitress/bartender were awesome! At first I thought she was going to be mad and beat me up for wanting my cheeseburger plain, but she was very nice. It was only burgers and baked potatoes or veggies. There a was a peanut butter burger among other unique ones. There were chains that the bartender would swing from and a stage with a cage and stripper pole among other things. None of these things were mentioned to us before we entered! It was good until Karen started mixing up her baked potato and found a band-aid...a big one! OMG x 20! We all about died!!! The waitress was very mad and took it back to the kitchen and had someone's bobo (that's what we call butt/ass)! A guy came out and asked if she had his finger too...uh no! She got a new plate and we were told everyone had their gloves on now and wouldn't be taking them off. What about the rest of our 5 plates? Needless to say we made the most of it and ate and laughed a lot and gagged some too! When we were getting ready to leave we saw a tub of cat food and a bowl of water for the cat out IN THE RESTAURANT. Thank goodness I didn't see this beforehand. We ran fast! It was one of those places though that if you called the health department they would say, "what did you expect?" We're chalking it up to memories and hopefully not a disease.

Joe entertaining us on the pole! He was impressive!

All of us on stage while others ate!
